    BILLINGS (AP) — Republican state Sen. Elsie Arntzen on Saturday announced she's running for Montana's open U.S. House seat. The conservative lawmaker from Billings in a statement says she wants to repeal the Affordable Care Act, balance the nation's budget, and restore a better America for future generations.   • State: Property owners must take responsibility during wildfires

    The state Fire Chief's Association is urging people with rural residences to be prepared in case of a wildland fire and is offering a booklet to tell them how to prepare for, and what to do in case of, a wildland fire.     As the No. 1-ranked team in Class A wrestling, the Havre High wrestling team was expected nothing less than to be the best dual team in the division, too.     Somehow, the Havre High girls basketball team continues to outdo itself. This past weekend was no exception as the Central A Blue Ponies dominated their two conference games. The Ponies spent two days on the road and returned home with two more conference wins, and are now 6-0 and still in first place in the league standings.. Friday night, the Ponies dominated Livingston 58-16 in Livingston, and Saturday, the Ponies kept rolling with a dominating win over Belgrade, 66-33.     Time is winding down on the 2013-14 Havre High swimming season. And with the state meet just around the corner, this past weekend was an important one for the Blue Ponies. Havre was in the pool a lot this weekend, racing against Class AA’s Great Falls High and CMR Friday afternoon in Great Falls, than taking part in the difficult Missoula Invitational Saturday.
