ARLEN BROUGH, Obituary

Arlen W. Brough, 35, an employee of Taco Johns, died Thursday, Nov. 14, 2002, in Eureka, Calif., due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the St. Jude Catholic Church with the Rev. Pete Guthneck officiating.

Interment will follow at the Highland Cemetery in Havre.

Arlen was born Dec. 24, 1966, in Havre to Richard "Dick" and RoseAnn (Anderson) Brough. He was raised in Havre and attended schools. He graduated from Havre High School.

Arlen worked various job in Havre. He worked for Champion Auto Parts for one and a half years and was currently employed at Taco Johns.

He married Chrissie Christopherson in 1991 and they had one son Jordon. The couple later divorced.

Arlen enjoyed fishing and playing pool. He often spent time in the Bear Paw Mountains with his family and friends. He liked to watch wrestling and car racing, Rusty Wallace was his favorite race car driver. He also like to attend the local demolition derby's here in Havre at the fair and on Festival Days.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ben and Ruby Anderson; paternal grandparents, John and Lyda Brough; and his father, Richard William Brough, in 1998.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Beth" Brough of Havre; son, Jordon Brough of Havre; stepson, Neil Cole of Dodson; his mother, RoseAnn Brough of Havre; sisters, Brenda Brough of Helena and Lori Casey of Missoula; brothers Mike Brough of Denver, Colo., and Roger Brough of Las Vegas, Nev .; and eight nieces and nephews.

Memorials in Arlen's honor may be made to his son, Jordon Brough, c/o Bear Paw Credit Union, 201 Second St., Havre, MT 59501.

Services and arrangements are under the direction of Holland and Bonine Funeral Home.
