DONNA LAFOURNAISE obituary

MISSOULA - Donna Jean LaFournaise, 71, of Missoula died of pancreatic cancer Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2003, at a Missoula hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with the presiding minister from Prince of Peace Lutheran Church offi-

ciating. Burial will follow at the cemetery.

Donna was born on March 29, 1932, at Havre to Clara and Clarence Bishop of Kremlin. She grew up on the family farm, graduated from Kremlin High School in 1950, and attended Northern Montana College.

On Sept. 24, 1955, she married Gordon LaFournaise of Havre and in October they left for Kentucky, where Gordon served in the U.S. Army. Upon their return to Montana, they lived in Conrad, Great Falls, Wolf Point, Havre, Helena, Billings and Missoula. Donna was employed by the Montana Highway Department for 15 years.

Donna and her husband were involved in many bowling leagues. She also enjoyed a good game of cribbage and she and Gordon spent much time and made many good memories at their cabin near Lincoln. They enjoyed entertaining friends and relatives.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Robert, who died when he was 2.

Survivors include her husband, Gordon LaFournaise of Missoula; son, Michael LaFournaise of Missoula; sister, Mavis (Jim) Hanson of Missoula; three grandsons; one great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
