ROCKY BOY - Laura May St. Marks, 61, died Sunday, Feb. 15, 2004, at a Havre care center of diabetes.
A wake service will begin today with a rosary service to begin at 7 p.m. today at the Rocky Boy Catholic Church. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m.
Wednesday at the Rocky Boy Catholic Church with the Rev. Pete Guthneck officiating. Burial will follow at the Rocky Boy Cemetery.
Laura was born on March 29, 1942, in Fort Belknap to Louis and Lucy (Caplette) St. Marks. She attended grade school in Rocky Boy and then attended Flandreu High School in South Dakota.
She married Sandy LaFromboise in Great Falls and they made their home in Great Falls. She then married Bill Wilkenson.
Laura worked as a homemaker, a CNA, cook, and a baker. She enjoyed sewing, baking and growing house plants. Her favorite pasttime was spending time with her granddaughter Jo Swan.
Laura was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Theresa, Justina, and Dorothy St. Marks, Mary Ann Boushie and Florence DuBoise; brothers, Hector, Johnny and Clarence St. Marks.
Survivors include her sons, Royden St. Marks and James Lawrence, both of Box Elder; sisters, Pauline (Mickey) Briere of Box Elder, Cecelia St. Marks Wells of Box Elder. and Dixie St. Marks and Ethel (Dick) Azure, both of Great Falls; brother, James "Sham" (Evelyn) Sangrey of Rocky Boy; stepbrother, Erwin Sangrey of Great Falls; and four grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the direction of Holland and Bonine Funeral Home.
