ESTHER AMOR obituary

Esther Harriet Amor, 84, died Wednesday, March 10, 2004, at a Havre hospital of natural causes.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the First Lutheran Church in Havre with the Rev. Catherine Card offici-

ating. There will be a private family burial at Kuper Memorial Cemetery at a later time.

Esther was born April 11, 1919 in Zahl, N.D., to Iver and Mary (Eidsvag) Robley. She was raised and educated in North Dakota.

She married Harlen Amor June 12, 1936, in Williston, N.D. Esther was employed at the Montgomery Ward store in Williston. Esther and Harlen moved to Montana in 1953. After arriving in Havre, she was employed at the Buttery Department Store as a sales person.

Esther was active in her faith and in ministering to others and was known for her love and compassion. Her hobby was buying, restoring and selling antiques. She even had an antique store in one of her apartments.

She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Havre.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harlen Amor; son, Jerald Amor in 2004; sister, Olga Minetti; and grandson, Jeffery C. Wood.

Survivors include her daughter, Lorraine (Clarence) Wood of Great Falls; son, Dwane Amor of Havre; brother, George Robley of Upland, Calif.

Services and arrangements are under the direction of Holland and Bonine Funeral Home.
