Knights of Columbus crown district winners

The Knights of Columbus Council Free-throw Contest level winners from each of the Havre, Fort Benton and Chester area contests gathered at the Chester High School gymansium last month to compete against each other to determine who would represent each bracket from the district.

District winners from each age group would then have their respective scores compared to other scores from districts around the state to determine the eventual state champion.

The district champions are:

Girls

Age 14 - Katie Mariani, Havre

Age 13 - Lexi Lybeck, Chester

Age 12 - Jessica VanDyke, Chester

Age 11 - Cheyloe Forbes, Chester

Age 10 - Michelle Spicher, Joplin

Boys

Age 14 - Chadd Taylor, Box Elder

Age 13 - Michael Hickman, Havre

Age 12 - Quinton Hoff, Chester

Age 11 - Grant Lakey, Chester

Age 10 - Kade Barsotti, Havre
