Esther Borlaug, 91, died Monday, May 18, 2009, at the Sweet Memorial Nursing Home of natural causes.

A viewing will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday at the Holland & Bonine Funeral Home. Her burial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the South Gildford Cemetery with her funeral service at 1 p.m. in the Hingham Lutheran Church with Pastor Arden Barden officiating. Memorials in Esther's honor may be made to the Hingham Lutheran Church . A fellowship luncheon will be held at the church immediately after the service.
