Just before the weather went south, the Havre High boys and girls golf teams got a chance to compete in the third tournament of the high school golf season.
On Friday, the Blue Ponies were in East Glacier for a tournament hosted by Browning. The East Glacier Course is a scenic nine-hole layout and the Ponies turned in some good scores on the day.
Havre had three top-ten players at the met, which featured Browning and several other area schools. Junior Simon McCann shot a season-best 87 to finish second overall on the boys side. Teammate Sam Lippy added a 94 to finish fifth overall. On the...
