Committee OKs pet ordinance fees

Havre City Council's Ordinance Committee approved, at Wednesday night's meeting, the resolution laying out the fees associated with last month's pet ordinance changes.

The registration and licensing fee for the dogs will be $5 if the dog is spayed or neutered, $10 if it is not.

Getting additional metal tags from the city for dog collars will cost $.50 per tag.

Impounding an animal that is at large and taken in will cost owners an initial $12 and another $12 for every day the animal is held.
