Legislature committee appointments made

Local legislators have been appointed to some key committees in the upcoming legislative sesion, including one appointment to a committee leadership role.

The Montana Legislature's website lists Rep. -elect Kris Hansen, R-Havre, as vice-chair of the House Educataion Committee. Hansen also has been appointed as a member of the Judiciary, Local Government and Rules committees.

Rep. Wendy Warburton, R-Havre, who also has been appointed one of the majority whips, will serve as a member of the Judiciary, Legislative Administration, Natural Resources, and Rules committees.
