LC brings Skylight's season to a close

For the second time in four days, the Montana State University-Northern women's basketball team played Frontier Conference powerhouse Lewis-Clark State very tough.

But for the second straight time, the Skylights just couldn't find a way to beat the Warriors, and this time, their season came to an end as a result. On Tuesday night in Lewiston, Idaho, the 10-ranked Warriors beat the Skylights 71-60 in the first round of the Frontier playoffs. The loss eliminated the Skylights from the playoffs and brought a difficult, up-and-down season to a close with a 13-18 overall record.
