Tour of Havre light displays offered

Hi-Liners will get an opportunity to see many of the finest Christmas light displays on Tuesday, Dec. 20.

The Hill County Community Foundation, Atrium Mall Merchants Association and North Central Montana Transit will sponsor a tour of Havre's finest decorated homes.

"I think people will see a lot of variety of displays," said Lori Ryan, chair of the Hill County Community Foundation. The transit system will provide the buses, she said.

Tours will be offered at 6, 7 and 8 p. m. for the second annual tour, she said.

The first tour received widespread attention from people who attended she said.

Ryan said some homes are decorated only with lights, others have motion or music, she said.

The tour costs only $5, she said.

"I think people will be surprised at how beautiful some of the lights are," she said.

The money will be used to fund the foundation's grants for arts and cultural projects and community beautification, she said.

People interested in taking the tour should call Lindsay Lorang's law office at 265-1530.

If people think they have an interesting display at their home that should be a stop along the tour, they can call Lorang's law office.
