Council OKs Havre's budget, taxes to fund it

After a brief moment of tacit approval, the Havre City Council wrapped up the public hearing on the then preliminary 2013 budget on Wednesday evening with unanimous approval for the budget and the city taxes that accompany it.

The 6:30 p.m. hearing was a continuation of Tuesday night's first public budget hearing at the end of the regular council meeting, which was recessed rather than the usual adjourning.
