Local Bowling Report: Men's City Tournament beginning this month

The Men's City Tournament is scheduled for the week of Feb. 15 with team event starting at 7 p.m. Singles and Doubles will be bowled on the weekend, Feb. 18 and 19 with extra team shifts available. Starting times are at 12 p.m. on each day. More information is available by calling the lanes.

Two weeks ago on Monday night in the Junior-Adult No-Tap League 12-year-old Jacey McDonald, one of Havre's rising stars rolled a 300 game. True it was in a no-tap league but still quite a feat anyway. Congratulations Jacey.

Last week our hearts were saddened by the passing of Dave Hamilton, who put up a great fight but lost the battle to Lou Gehrigs Disease. For those of you who knew him he was a fierce competitor for years. He was one of the best left-handed bowlers for years, always averaging in the high 190's. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
