Breaking Sports: Ponies win Central A boys tennis title

Bozeman - The Havre High boys tennis team claimed its 15th Central A championship in the last 16 years Friday night in Bozeman. The Pony boys scored 44 points to edge Livingston by three points for the team title. Senior Justin Jensen won the singles championship, while senior Brayden Grimson and Simon McCann won the boys doubles. Sophomore Ned Malone tied for fifth in singles, while Blaine Grisak and Nick Rhines did the same in doubles. Havre's girls team finished in a tie for third with 21 points. Sophomore Brandy Lambourne placed third in singles. Four Blue Ponies will advance to Thursday's Class A state tournament in Great Falls.
