United win twice on Big Timber's pitch

The Hi-Line United co-ed U19 team started and finished strong last Saturday in Big Timber.

The United shut out the Big Timber Wolves 4-0 in the first of two games last weekend. They also finished with a 12-0 win over the Missoula Blue.

Against Big Timber, Sam Lippy, Erik Woodwick, Carlos Tovar and Logan Pike all scored goals. Elijah David and Kiana Robertson had assists and goalie Taran Huestis saved 20 shots.

The United exploded in the second game. Against Missoula, Pike scored a whopping five goals and Tovar added four. Lippy and Jarrid Russell also scored for the United, while Lippy, Woodwick, Tovar and Troy Mord all had assists. Huestis was rarely threatened in the game and had four stops. The Blue also gave up an "own goal" in the contest.

Now 3-1 on the season, the United will head to Butte for games against the Butte Orange Select and Laurel Purple Storm this weekend.
