Breaking Sports: Maroons clobber Blue Ponies

The Butte Central Maroons may not be in the Central A anymore, but they took it to the Havre Blue Ponies like it was a conference battle. On Friday night at Blue Pony Stadium, Butte Central spoiled the Ponies' home opener by running all over HHS, 61-19. Butte Central' Joe Joyce scored five rushing touchdowns on the night. Dane Warp threw two touchdown passes for the Ponies, one to Thurman Holdsclaw and on to Zach Plum. Holdsclaw also threw a TD pass to Plum.

Havre fell to 0-2 on the season with Friday night's loss. The Ponies next travel to Miles City next Friday night.
