Hi-Line Athletes of the Week

Kade Rismon, Havre Boys Basketball

The Havre High boys basketball team had a big weekend, winning its first two games of the season. And junior forward Kade Rismon was a big reason why the Blue Ponies swept Lewistown and Shelby. Rismon scored 16 points and pulled down seven rebounds in Havre's 60-53 win over the Eagles Friday night at the HHS gymnasium. He

added 10 points in Saturday's 57-34 win at Shelby as Havre improved to 2-5 on the season. Rismon is in his third year of varsity basketball at Havre, where he's also a track and field standout.

Morgan Jappe, Havre Swimming

Blue Pony junior Morgan Jappe seems to like racing in the Havre Community Pool. With a strong showing at the Havre Invitational last month, Jappe again thrived at home last Saturday as she helped the HHS girls to a first-place finish at the Class A Invite. Jappe finished second in 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:57.67, which was outstanding. And she also swam to a third-place finish in the 200 free, while helping the 200 free relay team to a second-place finish. Jappe has competed in many sports at HHS, including tennis.
