Four Blue Ponies to wrestle at T.O.C.

The wrestling season isn't quite over for some members of the Havre Blue Pony state championship team. Four Blue Ponies have been selected to compete in the annual Tournament of Champions.

The personal injury law firm of Hoyt and Blewett PLLC in Great Falls is sponsoring the Fifth annual "Tournament of Champions." The one-day, single elimination all-star wrestling tournament will take place in Great Falls this Saturday, February 16th, 2013. The "Tournament of Champions" will include the three state champions from AA, A and B/C, from last week's All-Class State Wrestling tournament, plus an additional wild-card entry. Last year's event drew more than half of the state champions from Classes AA, A, and B/C.

Havre had sophomore 105-pound state champion Grayson Brenna and 189-pound state champ Grant Pattison automatically qualify for the tournament, while 98-pound freshman Keegan Kennelly and 215-pound junior Tyler Adams were also selected. Kennelly and Adams finished second in their respective weight classes at last weekend's state tournament.

The T.O.C. semifinals will be held Saturday morning at Paris Gibson Education Center in Great Falls, starting at 10 a.m., followed by the championships at 12 p.m.
