Havre's Granell picks up a check at Montana PRCA Finals

Havre cowboy Josh Granell had a great first night at the 2013 Montana PRCA Rodeo Finals. The next two days didn't go as well.

Granell placed third in the first go-around of the steer wrestling Friday night at the Four Seasons Arena in Great Falls, but failed to record a time in the final two rounds.

Granell, who came into his second straight circuit finals eighth in the steer wrestling standings, recorded a stellar time of 4.8 Friday night, put himself in a great position in the average. But the next two days didn't go his way. Still, it was a great season for the former Havre High standout.
