Montana State University-Northern will hold a free Easter egg hunt Sunday at 2 p.m. This event is sponsored by the Associated Students of MSU-Northern and will be held on the Student Union Building lawn.
In addition to the egg hunt, the event will include special prizes, games, snacks and refreshments.
Andrew Potter, student body president, said that there will be three age groups: 0-3, 4-6 and 7-9.
“I think it brings a sense of community on campus,” he said. “It’s a way we can help give back. It’s a fun thing that we can do to show the kids in the community that we care about them as well.”
Other organizations have scheduled Easter events across the community as well.
The Havre Optimist Club will hold its annual Easter egg hunt Sunday, April 5, at 1 p.m. at Optimist Park, 9th Street West and Boulevard Avenue.
Sweet Memorial Nursing Home in Chinook will hold its annual Easter egg hunt Saturday, April 4, at 11 a.m. at 125 Airport Road in Chinook.
The Havre Eagles Club and the Havre Jaycees will host their annual Easter egg hunt Saturday, April 4, at 1 p.m. at Eagles Park on 1st Street and 18th Avenue.
All of these events are free of charge and open to the public.
