Officers issued a summons on a charge of vicious dog to Anthony Thomas Filler, 25, of Havre after a U.S. Postal Service representativee called the department at 10:53 a.m. Friday to report a dog bit a postal carrier in the face.

Officers investigated a report made at 2:13 p.m. Friday at the police department that somene threatened an employee of the complainant Thursday.

Ordell James Denny, 18, of Box Elder was arrested for shoplifting following a call at 2:53 p.m. Friday from a 1st street business.

Officers investigated a report made at 3:21 p.m. Friday from Washington Avenue that the caller had found a black coin purse.

Police responded to a 5:59 p.m. Friday call from a 1st Street business, after a woman reported a man vomiting. David Taylor Eagleman, 55, of Rocky Boy was subsequently arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct.

Police investigated a 6:38 p.m. Friday call from a 1st Street West business reporting a motor vehicle ran into a sign.

A caller at a business on 1st Street West reported a hit and run at 6:52 p.m. Friday. Police subsequently investigated.

Darrell Michael Doney, 23, of Havre was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants in the lobby of the Havre Police Department 7:29 p.m Friday.

An officer served a Justice or City court warrant on Kimberly Anne Day, 26, of Cut Bank at the Hill County Detention Center at 7:43 p.m. Friday.

An officer issued a summons to Memory Joy Gone, 25, of Hays and Seattle at the Havre Police Department at 7:49 p.m. Friday on a charge of driving without a driver’s license.

After a caller reported from McKinley Avenue at 7:57 p.m. Friday that a neighbor’s dog had attacked his dog, officers issued a summons to Monica Marie Harwood, 19, of Havre on charges of dog at large and “other.”

After a caller reported at 8:26 p.m. Friday from an 11th Street West location that a tenant was “acting strangely,” officers issued a summons to Marlayna Shanelle Snow, 23, of Havre on charges of disorderly conduct and possession of toxic substances.

Christopher Lee Schneider, 35, of Havre was arrested during an officer-initiated stop on 6th Street at 1:06 a.m. Saturday for driving under the influence after refusing a test, disorderly conduct and parking on a roadway.

An officer issued a summons to a 16-year-old, gender and home town not provided, at 4:56 a.m. Saturday on Jefferson Avenue on charges of juvenile curfew violation and minor in possession of intoxicants.

Officers investigated a report of theft at a 1st Street West business at 4:31 p.m. Saturday.

Police responded to a 4:34 p.m. call Saturday on 17th Street West after a man had reportedly punched a woman in the face. Alion George Eagleman Sr., 27, of Havre was arrested on a charge of a partner or family member assault. Christina Faith Eagleman, 21 of Havre was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault, assault with a weapon and resisting arrest.

James Jesus McDonald, 26 of Minot, North Dakota, and Patrick Peter McDonald, 22, of Sidney were arrested outside a 1st Street business establishment each on a charge of disorderly conduct, following a 11:25 p.m call Saturday. The two were reportedly engaged in a fight.

Carrie Anne Shawl, 40, of Wolfpoint was arrested during an officer-initiated stop at 1:47 a.m. Sunday on 4th Avenue on charges of DUI, driving without proof of insurance, failure to obey a red traffic signal, driving with a revoked or suspended license and driving with an open container, and on a Justice or City court warrant.

Officers investigated a 9:25 a.m. Sunday report from 3rd Street of a verbal altercation.

An officer responded to a 9:51 a.m. call from a 5th Street location Sunday. Erica Ann Dion, 33, of Havre was arrested on charges of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, resisting arrest and criminal contempt.

Police investigated a 3 p.m. Sundayreport of a hit and run that had happened outside the caller's 4th Street residence.

Officers responding to a 10:12 p.m. Sunday call from a 1st Street Northeast location arrested Derek Paul Converse, 31, on charges of criminal mischief, criminal contempt and probation violation. Converse allegedly kicked in the door to an apartment.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

The animal control officer was called to invetigate a 9:05 a.m. Friday report from 1st Street Northwest of uncared for animals.

David Larry Sanchez Jr., 29, of Harlem was issued a summons for shoplifting after a report of a shoplifter in custody at a U.S. Highway 2 West business at 4:56 p.m. Friday.

Thomas Howard Roberts Jr., 36, of Havre was arrested for partner or family member assault after deputies received a call at 6 p.m. Saturday from a neighbor who said a male was beating a woman at a residence along U.S. Highway 2 East.

Havre Fire Department:

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Friday, one Saturday and one Sunday.

Fire crews responded to a 7:58 a.m. alarm Friday after a carbon monxide alarm went off. NorthWestern Energy arrived on the scene discovered that the alarm was defective and the area was safe.

Fire crews responded to a fire alarm at 4:51 a.m. Saturday. There was no fire.

——

Fire crews responded to another fire call at 10:28 a.m. Sunday on the 10 Block of 3rd Street West.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the shelter held a black male Weimaraner-Labrador mix puppy, a black and white male cat and a black and tan terrier mix.
