Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a Tuesday-night hit-and-run accident after a caller from a Second Street trailer court reported it at 12:55 p.m. Wednesday.

After a caller from a 17th Street location reported, at 3:25 p.m. Wednesday, that a woman had punched a man in the face, officers arrested Jolee Landgraff, 24, of Havre on charges of nonaggravated partner or family member assault and assault.

Officers responding to a report from the 300 Block of 12th Avenue at 8:03 p.m. Wednesday that a woman way lying on the ground arrested Linda Lou Azure, 63, of Havre on a charge of disorderly conduct.

Officers at 8:26 p.m. Wednesday at the police station investigated a report of a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies made no arrests Wednesday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to one call Wednesday.

Firefighters at 1:17 p.m. Wednesday responded to a report from the 1200 Block of 10th Street West that coconut oil had splashed from a pan on a stove and started on fire. The fire was extinguished by putting a lid over the flames before the firefighters arrived.
