Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies investigated a complaint after a caller from Beaver Creek Park called Monday at 9:36 a.m. and asked to speak to a deputy.

Deputies investigated an animal control report after a Northern Montana Hospital caller reported Monday at 11:25 a.m. that someone in the emergency room had a dog bite.

Samuel Roastingstick of Box Elder, 46, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants Monday at 5:14 p.m. on Eighth Avenue West.

Tucker Joseph Loftus of Havre, 26, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant Monday at 6:44 p.m. on First Street.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Monday and one today.

Fire crews responded to a call Monday at 4:48 p.m. on the 100 Block of 11th Street West, where two fire alarms had been pulled without reason. There was no fire.

Births

A girl was born Monday, Aug. 15, 2016, to Shadey AnnMarie Wienke and Chanyng Ward Stevenson of Malta.

Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held Monday a tan and white pitbull mix, a white and tan husky-heeler mix, a tan terrier-collie mix and a brown mix-breed puppy.
