Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Tuesday.

Fire crews responded to a call Tuesday at 6:52 p.m. on the 600 Block of Sixth Street from where a tenant reported that smoke was rising from the vacant apartment below him. Fire crews found that a self-cleaning oven was on. The apartment was ventilated, the oven turned off and no further action was necessary.
Animal Shelter
The animal shelter held Monday a brown female weimaraner-pit bull mix, a black and brown shepherd mix, a black and tan shepherd mix, a brown pit bull mix, a white and black husky mix, a yellow Labrador-shepherd mix and a black and white border collie.
