Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a Monday 1:51 p.m. report from McKinley Avenue of an unwanted package arriving in the mail from someone with a temporary restraining order against them.

Officers issued a summons after investigating a Monday 3:40 p.m. report of a woman with a temporary restraining order attempting to get into a 10th Street West residence. No further information was provided on the summons.

Officers investigated a report made from Third Avenue Monday at 5:08 p.m. of stolen bikes.

John Joseph Bear Jr. of Havre, 28, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and charges of disorderly conduct, obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, revocation of suspended or deferred sentence and violation of conditions of release after a caller at a First Street business reported a complaint at 10:07 p.m. Monday.

Nolan James Hendrickson of Havre, 28, was arrested on charges of assault with a weapon, partner or family member assault and resisting arrest and Justin James Billy of Box Elder, 41, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a Second Street caller reported a complaint Monday at 10:22 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies provided assistance for a Beaver Creek Highway-Warrick Road caller Monday at 12:42 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to eight calls Monday, including two transports to the airport, one transfer to Great Falls, and one call to Kremlin.

Fire crews responded to a report of a gas smell on the 5600 Block of U.S. Highway 2 West Monday at 11:46 a.m. A gas valve on a stove was leaking and the crew remained on-scene until a crew from NorthWestern Energy repaired the leak.
