Havre Police Department

Clayton Blade Midgett of Havre, 28, was issued a summons on charges of reckless driving, traffic crime and expired vehicle registration after a traffic stop on First Street Friday at 11:58 a.m.

Everett Dale Windyboy of Havre, 71, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after a caller at a First Street West business reported a man passed out in the alley at 3:27 p.m. Friday.

A theft of merchandise was reported Friday at 3:42 p.m. at a First Street business.

--

A Friday 4:57 p.m. caller on Fourth Street reported that juveniles were trying to get into Lincoln-McKinley School.

--

A written or verbal warning was issued after a caller at 7:04 p.m. Friday reported a woman hitting a dog.

--

A caller on First Street reported at 9:08 p.m. Friday an assault that happened in the past.

--

Officers assisted at a fire on U.S. Highway 2 Northwest at 10:04 p.m. Friday.

--

A written or verbal warning was issued after a caller reported a man was trying to get into a Ninth Avenue apartment through the window Friday at 11:44 p.m.

Officers performed a welfare check on Second Street after a Friday 11:54 p.m. request for this assistance.

Brint Weston Mack of Havre, 32, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge near Town Square while officers were performing bar checks at 12:15 a.m. Saturday.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a barking dog was reported on Saddle Butte Drive Saturday at 5:21 a.m.

--

Officers assisted a 8:01 a.m. Saturday caller on 14th Avenue in locating a family member.

--

A caller 10:50 a.m. Saturday on Third Avenue reported a brown pit bull mix dog that appeared to have just had puppies and the dog and puppies were taken to Havre Animal Shelter.

Edward William Winchell Jr. of Havre, 49, was arrested on charges of failing to back safely and driving while using an electronic communication device in a warrant served on First Street Saturday at 1:55 p.m.

Heidi Marie Laforge of Havre, 25, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants and a pick up and hold order after a disturbance was reported on First Avenue at 6:24 p.m. Saturday.

A written or verbal warning was issued after an intoxicated woman was reported Saturday at 6:45 p.m. on Third Avenue West.

Maggie Margaret Arkinson of Box Elder, 35, was arrested on a shoplifting charge and John Michael Segna of Havre, 33, was arrested on a trespass to property charge after a caller at a First Street business reported Saturday at 8:06 p.m. catching a woman trying to steal merchandise.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a group of young juveniles was reported having been left attended at a First Street West business Friday at 10:19 p.m.

--

A theft of merchandise by two men was reported at 11:54 p.m. Saturday at a First Street West business.

An 11th Avenue caller reported Sunday at 1:14 a.m. being woken up by noises and finding a large group of people around his vehicle. The individuals ran off and officers searched for but were unable to locate them.

A Hill County Sheriff's Office deputy reported Sunday at 1:44 a.m. finding a small fire in a parking lot on U.S. Highway 2 Northwest.

Officers responded to a report Sunday at 2:12 a.m. that someone may have broken into a neighbor's house on Second Street.

Officers responded to a Sunday 2:23 a.m. burglar alarm at a First Street West establishment.

Corbin Wood of Havre, 24, was arrested on charges of hit and run, careless driving and other traffic crime after a hit and run crash was reported on Fifth Street at 3:25 a.m. Sunday.

Officers at 6:01 a.m. Sunday performed a requested building check on Washington Avenue.

--

Officers assisted someone with a complaint at the police station Sunday at 6:16 a.m.

Officers transported someone to Town Square at 6:55 a.m. Sunday.

--

Officers investigated a Sunday 11:33 a.m. report the caller and their children were threatened.

--

A minor fender bender was reported on First Street West at 1:24 p.m. Sunday.

--

A caller reported a mountain lion sighting on Devlin Trail on 11th Street Sunday at 7:40 p.m. Sunday. A search was made, but the animal was not found.

--

A Sunday 8:09 p.m. caller reported finding a wallet at a Fifth Avenue business.

--

A vehicle break-in was reported Sunday at 8:53 p.m. on Second Street Northeast.

--

Sunday at 10:10 p.m. officers searched for but could not locate two people a 10th Street West caller reported were constantly knocking on the door.

--

A written or verbal warning was issued after a caller at 1:43 a.m. today asked officers to perform a welfare check on someone on Eighth Street.

--

A disturbance with a male yelling was reported at 4:13 a.m. today on Eighth Street and the incident was resolved peacefully.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A Friday 9:37 a.m. caller on 23rd Avenue West reported a vehicle was missing, but the allegation was unfounded.

--

Deputies provided assistance to someone at the sheriff's office at 10:08 a.m. Friday and at 12:47 p.m. with an animal control issue.

--

A theft, forgery or fraud was reported at a U.S. Highway 2 West business Friday at 11:11 a.m.

--

Deputies assisted Havre Police at 3:31 p.m. Friday on the alley behind a First Street West business.

--

Deputies assisted another law enforcement agency on Second Street Friday at 4:47 p.m.

Brandon Alfred Belgarde of Box Elder, 27, was arrested on a charge of trespass to property after callers on Old Post Road reported a possibly intoxicated man walking Friday at 7:35 p.m. along the road, headed toward U.S. Highway 87.

Norman Juniper Bell of Lodge Pole, 39, was arrested on three Justice or City court warrants after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported suspicious activity Friday at 10:03 p.m.

--

Deputies searched for but couldn't locate an erratic driver reported northbound on U.S. Highway 87 near Laredo at 10:43 p.m. Friday.

--

Deputies searched for but couldn't locate a man reported Saturday at 2:54 a.m. walking along U.S. Highway 87.

--

A U.S. Border Patrol representative reported an abandoned vehicle on Wildhorse Road Saturday at 10:06 a.m.

--

Deputies provided assistance to a Saturday 5:54 p.m. caller on 11th Street North.

--

A domestic disturbance was reported at 11:43 p.m. Saturday on County Road 30 North and the incident was resolved peacefully.

Lorenzo Jace Johnson of Havre, 20, was arrested on four Justice or City court warrants after a caller on Second Street West reported a man acting suspiciously Sunday at 6:51 a.m.

--

The theft of a gray 2016 Dodge Charger with a 9mm handgun in the glove compartment was reported on 23rd Avenue West at 7:35 a.m. Sunday.

--

A caller reported a man causing a ruckus in Optimist Park Sunday at 6:02 p.m., and deputies searched for but could not locate the individual.

--

An erratic driver was reported eastbound on U.S. Highway 2 West Sunday at 10:33 p.m. and deputies searched for but could not locate the vehicle.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to five calls Friday, one call Saturday and two calls Sunday including one on Woodpile Road in northwest Blaine County.

Firefighters, accompanied by an ambulance crew, responded to a 9:50 p.m. Friday call on U.S. Highway 2 Northwest where the remains of a debris fire was found smouldering in a parking lot. The fire was extinguished.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the animal shelter held three 8-week-old kittens all of unknown gender, five female cats, two male cats and a 19-week-old male kitten.

Also this morning, the animal shelter held eight mixed-breed puppies between 7 weeks and 6 months old, three female and one male mixed-breed dogs, and one female German shepherd cross dog. Additionally, five 8-week-old puppies were being housed off-site.
