Esthetician opens salon in Atrium

A Havre woman has opened her own salon in the Atrium Mall.

Tina Dion, an esthetician and master makeup artist who graduated in July from The Montana Academy of Salons in Great Falls, is the owner of Tina's Salon.

"It is my goal to help others love their skin by providing with the information, tools and treatments they need to feel healthier and beautiful," Dion said.

The salon is housed in what had once been a doctor's office on the bottom floor of the Atrium.

Dion said she provides patrons with sugar waxes, eyelash perms and tinting as well as  facial chemical peels. However, she said, she does not do deep peels.

The salon also sells a wide range of facial products for both men and women. Gift certificates are also available. Dion said that she hopes to have a grand opening for the salon in January.

Dion, who works alone, said her hours are flexible. She takes walk-ins Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Weekend and evening sessions can be arranged by appointment.
