Thomas Mathew Dess of Havre, 61, was issued a summons on a charge of criminal contempt Tuesday at 7:49 a.m. at the police station.

Officers investigated a vandalism report after a 16th Street West caller reported Tuesday at 8:47 a.m. that someone had damaged her rental car.

Officers investigated a theft report after a caller near Jefferson Avenue reported Tuesday at 3:09 p.m. that someone refused to pay their taxi fare.

Officers made two arrests after a First Street business caller reported Tuesday at 3:35 p.m that two shoplifters had been detained. Domnique Lynn Cochran of Havre, 24, was arrested on a shoplifting charge, and Sakura Edna Main of Harlem, 18, was arrested on a shoplifting charge.

Officers investigated a motor vehicle crash Tuesday at 3:49 p.m. on First Street West.

Kevin Wayne Coleman of Havre, 31, was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault, unlawful restraint and criminal destruction of or tampering with communications device after a 12th Avenue caller reported a disturbance Tuesday at 4:01 p.m.

Officers investigated a vandalism report after a Fourth Street caller reported Tuesday at 6:36 p.m. that a vehicle window had been shot out.

Officers assisted a citizen after a First Street business caller reported Tuesday at 9:59 p.m. that an elderly woman lost her people.

Officers investigated a motor vehicle crash after a caller at a First Street West establishment reported today at 1:19 a.m. a hit and run accident.

Carl John Morsette of Havre, 44, was arrested on a criminal trespass to property charge after a First Street West business caller reported today at 1:57 a.m.  that someone was hurting his mother and sister.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Dorinda Dae Sunchild of Havre, 24, was arrested on a possession of dangerous drugs charge Tuesday at 8:43 p.m. near a 14th Avenue address.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Tuesday.

Fire crews responded to a call Tuesday at 4:13 p.m. on the 200 Block of Fourth Avenue where a gas line was ruptured by a construction worker. A nearby business was evacuated while NorthWestern Energy repaired the line.

A girl was born Monday, March 6, 2017, to Jalyn Azure and Andy Ambler of Havre.

Animal Shelter

The animal shelter held this morning a female German shepherd, a black and white border collie-pit bull mix dog and a black pit bull.
