Northern Montana Health Care awards first "C.A.R.E." Award

From Northern Montana Health Care

Customer Service is important to Northern Montana Health Care. "Being the healthcare provider of choice" is part of their mission statement. Taking the time to recognize excellence in their employees is one of the ways they try to achieve this goal.

"We started the C.A.R.E. Award as part of our customer service group, 'The High Five Club,'" said Candis Deruchia, VP of Information Systems/Quality Metrics at Northern Montana Health Care. "C.A.R.E. stands for Compassionately Achieving Remarkable Excellence. The purpose of this bi-monthly recognition award is to acknowledge employees who have served at NMHC in an exceptional manner by exemplifying outstanding service through his or her work, and consistently exhibiting a positive and supportive attitude."

Employees at NMHC nominate their fellow employees for this award. This week NMHC presented the first C.A.R.E. Award to Megan Bradley, a member of the environmental services team. Megan has worked at NMHC for two years.

"Megan's co-workers nominated her for her ability to show leadership in her department, assisting the younger team members with their training," said Deruchia. "Not only do they appreciate the hard work that she does but they love the fact that Megan always has a smile on her face and really demonstrates excellent customer service to everyone. She is a definite asset to our organization."

Megan was presented with a special logoed jacket as part of a surprise announcement from the High Five Club at NMHC last Tuesday. Photos from the event can be found on the Northern Montana Hospital page on Facebook. Nominations are now being sought for the next recipient.
