Letter to the Editor - Thanks to all for Red Cross blood drive

I would like to take this time of thankfulness to express my thanks to the volunteers that help out with the blood draw held at St. Jude’s every other month. They are the Lions Club, Jaycees, Eagles, Knight of Columbus, Fifth Avenue Christian Church, NorthWestern Energy, Wells Fargo Bank, Stockman Bank, Havre Rotary, Independence Bank, Steve Mariani Insurance & Financial, First Lutheran Women, Methodist Women, TOPS 0480 and Messiah Lutheran Women.

Also a special thanks to St. Jude’s for the use of their fellowship hall and the Knights of Columbus men for setting up for and cleaning up after the draw, and Al and Wade Bitz for putting up the signs and taking them down. I would also like to thank my dependable helpers with registration, Lois Kuhn and Sue Swan.

Most of all, I would like to thank the donors that come each and every time. For every unit of blood given, three lives are saved.
