Havre Police Department

Cole Forrest Stump of Havre, 26, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants and on a charge of resisting arrest while an officer was serving the warrants Thursday at 11:27 a.m. on 14th Street.

Officers opened and investigation after someone stopped at the police station to speak with an officer Thursday at 3:52 p.m.

Officers investigated a 9:36 p.m. Thursday report of a man and woman fighting in a vehicle at a First Street business.

Officers made an arrest while investigating a U.S. Highway 2 East hit-and-run crash reported Thursday at 10:04 p.m. No details were given about the arrest.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies were called Thursday at 4:38 p.m. to investigate a theft, forgery or fraud at a U.S. Highway 2 West business.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls early this morning.

Fire crews responded to a 12:45 p.m. Thursday call to the 200 Block of Second Street. No one was made available at the fire department to provide details on the call.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the shelter held four medium-hair cats whose sex is listed as “unknown,” three medium-hair male cats, one medium-hair female cat, and one female short-hair cat.

The shelter held this morning a 1-year-1-month-old male Labrador retriever-pug cross, a 6-year-1-month-old female Labrador retriever and a 5-year-old female Australian shepherd.
