Havre Police Department

Officers were called to a hit-and-run vehicle crash on the Montana State University-Northern campus Thursday at 10:56 a.m.

A vehicle crash was reported on Third Street at 3:48 p.m. Thursday.

--

A 10th Avenue caller reported Thursday at 5:34 p.m. that a dog attacked a man.

--

Thursday at 6:24 p.m. a crash was reported between a Grand Am and a pickup truck on First Street Northeast.

--

Stolen license plates were reported Thursday at 11:12 p.m. by a Second Street caller.

--

Sarah Jean Nalder of Big Sandy, 34, was arrested on charges of no proof of insurance in vehicle; driving under the influence, refused to test; and changing lanes when it's unsafe to do so, during a vehicle stop on Fifth Avenue Thursday at 11:43 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Sheriff's office dispatch reported no arrests or investigations from Thursday morning to this morning.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to four calls Thursday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held three medium-hair cats, one long-hair cat, one short-hair cat, a medium-hair 14-week-old kitten and a medium-hair 8-month-old kitten all of unknown gender, two medium-hair male cats, one short-hair female cat and one medium-hair female cat. Two other cats were being held at a foster as part of the trap-spay/neuter-release program.

The Havre shelter also held this morning three female mixed-breed dogs, a female shepherd-Labrador retriever dog, a female mixed-breed 14-week-old puppy, a female husky dog, a male pit bull terrier dog and a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler-border collie dog.
