MSU News Service

MSU Wonderlust will host a discussion with wildlife biologist Mike Vivion Oct. 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Livingston-Park County Library. The talk, “Flights on the Wild Side 2: More Adventures of a Wildlife Biologist in the Frozen North,” is a free event and open to the public.

Vivion will address his 30 years as a wildlife biologist and as a pilot assigned to Alaska’s Izembek, Kodiak and Yukon Flats national wildlife refuges. Vivion will also cover the wildlife research projects he did, including monitoring mountain goat migrations, animal capture operations and radio tracking several species from bears to fish.

The talk is hosted by MSU Wonderlust, a lifelong learning organization that is part of MSU Academic Technology and Outreach. Wonderlust presentations at the Livingston-Park County Library are free and open to the public thanks to sponsorship by the Friends of the Livingston-Park County Public Library.
