Triangle Telephone suffering internet attacks

Telephone and internet cooperative Triangle Communications said in a Facebook post that it is suffering malicious attacks on its network.

The cooperative said the attacks may cause people to suffer slow internet speeds.

Triangle said it has protections services in place to minimize interruptions, but people always should take action to minimize problems and maximize their protection including

-- using and updating antivirus software

-- keeping their system updated and installing security updates

-- maintaining a firewall

-- using good practices on security settings.
