Havre Police Department

Everett Dale Windyboy of Havre, 67, was issued a summons on a charge of open container in the city, after a caller reported Thursday at 11:07 a.m. that a man who had been passed out in the alley behind the caller's Second Street residence was trying but unable to walk.

At 2:54 p.m. Thursday, a 37-year-old man was arrested after officers investigated suspicious activity on Second Street related to a 1:27 p.m. report about a man who had charged at the caller's vehicle on Second Street. Tanner Joseph Walker, who was named in the dispatch as an involved party, was listed this morning in the jail roster as being held on a charge of disorderly conduct.

Three arrests were made after a caller reported Thursday at 6:39 p.m. seeing three people enter a First Street building. No details on the names and charges were provided.

Officers investigated a vehicle crash on First Street West Thursday at 7:55 p.m. The vehicle had hit a power pole, knocking a line loose, so public works, fire department and power company crews were notified.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Sheriff's office dispatch log reported no arrests, summonses issued or investigations in the 24-hour reporting period.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Thursday.

Firefighters responded to a 9:55 a.m. gas odor call from the 10 Block of Second Avenue, but they could not detect a gas present and turned the scene over to NorthWestern Energy.

Firefighters responded to a 7:56 p.m. call about a power line down on the 100 Block of First Street West. The downed line was a telephone line and Century Link was notified.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held one cat of unknown gender, six female cats, two male cats, a female 10-month-old kitten and a male 8-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held this morning a male mix breed 9-month-old puppy, a male Labrador retriever dog, a female Chihuahua dog, a male mix-breed dog, a male Chihuahua dog, a female mix-breed 23-week-old puppy, a female mix-breed 7-month-old puppy and a female mix-breed 11-week-old puppy.
