Havre Public School Board hears presentation on re-opening plan

Voting on option scheduled for Aug.11

Havre Public Schools Board of Trustees heard during a special board meeting this afternoon presentations on options for re-opening the schools ranging from continued remote learning to a full re-opening, as well as voting on other issues on its agenda.

A draft plan on the reopening options will be available to parents, community and the public for input on the Havre Public School's website at http://blueponyk12.com.

The Board of Trustees will vote on a plan at its next regular meetin,g Tuesday, Aug. 11 at 6:30 p.m. at Havre Middle School

Parents who choose to opt out their children from in-person classes to remote learning mist do so by Friday, Aug. 14.

Interim Superintendent Craig Mueller said students who opt out could be assigned to a remote learning teacher.

The first day of school is still set for Wednesday, Aug. 26.
