John Robert "Bob" Waldron was born in Missoula, Montana in 1947 to John William Waldron and Betty Ruth Howell Waldron. He was the eldest of three brothers, along with identical twins Dennis and David Waldron. Grandpa Bob passed away on 10/3/2020 from complications due to COVID-19.

In 1972, Bob married Janet Theresa Kleffner Waldron. Together they had three sons, Michael (Jeannette) Waldron of Livingston, MT; Steven (Kristy) Waldron of Moorhead, MN; and Daniel (Crystal) Waldron of Havre, MT. All three of their sons are now raising families of their own, including eight grandchildren: Manjula, William, and Amelie (Michael); Anna, Mara, and Nolan (Steven); Jaclynn and Quinlann (Daniel)

Bob was passionate about learning throughout his life. In high school he spent a school year in Saltillo, Coahuila (Mexico) as a foreign exchange student, a period of his life in which he learned to speak Spanish fluently and developed a lifelong affinity for spicy food. Attending the University of Montana after high school, he earned a Bachelor of Science in biology. Years later, while working and raising his family, he also earned a Master of Science in biology.

Bob loved the outdoors, science and nature. He followed this passion into a career teaching high school biology at Wolf Point High School in Montana from 1979 to 2008, when he retired due to health reasons. Over the course of his 29-year career he taught and influenced many, many young people. He loved his students, and it showed in the effort he put into his work every day. He was beloved by nearly everyone with whom he came in contact. Over time, his career and charisma earned him the nickname "Bio Bob."

Bob is survived by his wife of 32 years, his three sons, all of his grandchildren and his two brothers.
