Orion Thivierge, Havre Football

It’s been a tough season for the Havre High football team, but in a 26-12 win over Hardin last Friday night, the Ponies finally had something to smile about. And so did junior Orion Thivierge, who scored all four of HHS’ TDs in the win, including an interception for a score, and three rushing touchdowns. Thivierge, a state champion wrestler as well, rushed for 102 yards, caught two passes, had eight tackles a sack and INT on his big night.

Yelena Miller, Havre Volleyball

The Havre High volleyball team is on a roll. And in their biggest win of the season, the Blue Ponies saw sophomore Yelena Miller get on a roll, as well. In Havre’s four-set win over Glendive Saturday afternoon, Miller recorded a match-high 14 kills to go along with four blocks. She also finished the match with a pair of digs as Havre knocked off the first-place Red Devils. Miller has been having a big impact on the Ponies’ all season long, as well.
