Havre Police Department

A Bonine Drive caller reported Friday at 7:42 a.m. that their vehicle and the one next to it were broken into during the night.

A caller at a Montana State University-Northern residence hall reported Friday at 10:23 p.m. that the caller's vehicle had been broken into during the night.

--

A Friday 11:15 a.m. caller reported a suspicious package outside a window at Hill County Courthouse.

--

A caller at an MSU-Northern residence hall made a Friday 1:06 p.m. report of a stolen tackle box and fishing pole.

--

A vehicle crash was reported Friday at 1:16 p.m. on Fifth Avenue.

--

An arrest was made or summons issued after a caller at the hospital reported Friday at at 6:38 p.m. that a dog bit someone in the Smithville area.

--

A 12th Street caller reported a girl was out of control Friday at 7:34 p.m.

--

A two-vehicle crash between a Dodge and a Chevrolet was reported on Sixth Street Friday at 8:13 p.m.

--

A 14-year-old, an 11-year-old and a 9-year-old were each issued a summons on charges of disorderly conduct and juvenile curfew violations after a 12:08 a.m. Saturday caller reported youths running through the alley between Third and Second streets with a gas can, and officers were call at 12:57 a.m. for assistance with juveniles on First Street.

A caller with Child and Family Services made a report from the hospital Saturday at 1:03 a.m.

A disturbance was reported on 18th Street Saturday at 2 a.m.

--

After a caller reported a stolen vehicle on First Street at 6:42 a.m. Saturday, officers made an arrest at 7:47 p.m. on First Street West. Avery Jordan Boe, who was named in the dispatch log as an involved party, is listed in the jail roster this morning as being held on a charge of motor vehicle theft.

Joshua Steven Kirkaldie of Havre, 32, was arrested on a charge of aggravated driving under the influence after a Sixth Street caller reported Saturday at 12:53 p.m. that a family member who had been drinking just drove away.

--

A non-injury vehicle crash was reported on Third Street at 1:12 p.m. Saturday.

--

Officers were called Saturday at 3:23 p.m. to investigate a hit and run crash that occurred on Eighth Street sometime between the previous evening and the time of the call.

--

Officers investigated suspicious activity reported at a First Street establishment Saturday at 8:23 p.m.

--

John William Loving of Snyder, North Dakota, 71, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and trespass to property after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 Northwest establishment asked Saturday at 9:05 p.m. for assistance removing a customer.

A Third Street caller reported Sunday at 8:19 a.m. that a vehicle was hit and run during the night.

--

Jordan Patrick Lamphier of Havre, 30, was arrested on a trespass to property charge after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 Northwest business reported Sunday at 12:06 p.m. that a man was trying to break into a building.

--

A two-vehicle, non-injury crash involving a Jeep and a Toyota Corolla was reported at 12:46 p.m. Sunday on Ninth Street.

--

A caller reported Sunday at 5:42 p.m. that a truck backed into an SUV at a First Street Northeast business.

--

A summons was issued after a caller on 17th Street West reported Sunday at 8:41 p.m. that a neighbor's dog had attacked another dog in the caller's yard at around 6:30 p.m. No details on the charges were provided.

Officer made an investigation while assisting Havre Fire Department on First Street at 3:29 a.m. today.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies investigated a complaint reported at a U.S. Highway 2 West business Friday at 2:11 p.m.

--

Jalen Jaret Watson of Havre, 19, was arrested on a state District Court warrant served at Hill County Detention Center Friday at 3:42 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Friday, three calls Saturday, three calls Sunday and two calls early this morning.

Firefighters responded with an engine and an ambulance Saturday at 10:04 p.m. to a report of a fire on the 300 block of 10th Street. They found that residents had an illegal fire pit and advised them that the fire needed to be put out and the pit changed to meet city ordinances, which explain the location to buildings, allowed construction of the pit and what can be burned. Copies of the ordinance, Assistant Fire Chief Nathan Courtnage said, can be picked up at the fire station at 520 Fourth Street.


Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held four cats of unknown gender, three male cats and four female cats.

The shelter also held two female and one male 9-week-old mixed-breed puppies, a male St. Bernard-mix dog, a female 18-week-old pit bull terrier puppy, one female and one male mixed-breed dogs, a female 8-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a male 15-week-old mixed-breed puppy and a female Staffordshire bull terrier dog. Another nine 12-week-old mixed-breed puppies were being held separately.


Births

A girl was born Wednesday, April 14, 2021, to Karly and Dan Danielson of Havre.

A boy was born Thursday, April 15, 2021, to Rosaleah Ball and Ben Watkins of Havre.
