State and local COVID-19 update, Sept. 30, 2021

The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 1,217 new cases, 11,763 active cases, 415 hospitalizations and 2,009 deaths. The cumulative total for the state was 151,033 cases.

Blaine County Health Department reported Wednesday evening being notified of 17 new cases, 94 active, no active hospitalizations listed, 1,154 total cases, 24 deaths.

Hill County Health Department reported Wednesday evening that 25 new cases were reported, 148 active, 8 active hospitalizations, 2,866 total cases, 53 deaths.

Rocky Boy reported Wednesday, also reported on either Chouteau or Hill County numbers, 7 new cases, 57 active, 3 active hospitalizations, 1,043 total cases. It has had 9 deaths.

Fort Belknap reported Wednesday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips county numbers, 5 new cases, 34 active, 1 active hospitalization, 634 total cases, 12 deaths.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had 3 new cases, 40 active, 229 total cases, 1 death.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had 3 new cases, 24 active, 615 total cases, 8 deaths.

People can visit the state tracking map, normally updated between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. each day, online through links at https://montana.maps.arcgis.com and at https://covid19.mt.gov .

People can find online where vaccines are available in their area through https://vaccinefinder.org, operated by Boston’s Children’s Hospital and supported by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United States Digital Service.
