State and local COVID-19 update, Oct. 22, 2021

The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 1,088 new cases, 10,919 active cases, 429 hospitalizations and 2,247 deaths. The cumulative total for the state was 170,567 cases.

Blaine County Health Department reported Thursday evening being notified of 3 new cases, 81 active, 3 active hospitalizations, 1,342 total cases, 25 deaths.

Hill County Health Department reported Thursday evening that 9 new cases were reported, 119 active, 13 active hospitalizations, 3,219 total cases, 60 deaths.

Rocky Boy reported Thursday, also reported on either Chouteau or Hill county numbers, 1 new case, 41 active, 2 active hospitalizations, 1,139 total cases. It has had 10 deaths.

Fort Belknap reported Thursday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips county numbers, no new cases, 27 active, no active hospitalization, 720 total cases, 12 deaths.

Liberty County Public Health reported Thursday 7 active cases in the county. The state map u-update this morning reported 1 new case, 255 total cases, 1 death.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had 3 new cases, 21 active, 672 total cases, 8 deaths.

People can visit the state tracking map, normally updated between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. each day, online through links at https://montana.maps.arcgis.com and at https://covid19.mt.gov .

People can find online where vaccines are available in their area through https://vaccinefinder.org, operated by Boston’s Children’s Hospital and supported by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United States Digital Service.
