Officers investigated a possible disturbance on Wilson Avenue reported Tuesday at 10:47 a.m.

Lana Standing Chief of Havre, 40, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and a charge of criminal contempt during a vehicle stop on First Street Tuesday at 12:08 p.m.

Officers investigated a report of a man threatening another man who stopped at the police station to make the complaint Tuesday at 3:07 p.m.

Officers investigated a report of a vehicle getting rearended at a First Street West business Tuesday at 12:48 a.m. today.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Sheriff's office dispatch log reported no arrests, summonses or investigations in the the 24-hour reporting period.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Tuesday and one early this morning.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two cats of unknown gender, five female cats, four male cats, one male 14-week-old kitten, one female and one male six-month-old kittens, a female 20-week-old kitten and a female 7-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held a male shepherd, a male 9-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a male pit bull, two female mixed-breed dogs, a female 23-week-old Labrador retriever puppy, a female 23-week-old border collie-Australian cattle dog-blue heeler cross puppy and a male mixed-breed dog. Also, a male and a female 13-week-old mixed-breed puppies were being held separately.
