Havre Police Department

A 17-year-old was issued a summons on a shoplifting charge after a caller at a First Street West business reported Wednesday at 8:56 a.m. that someone had stolen an energy drink and left in a pickup truck headed eastbound.

Vandalism was reported in the men's bathroom of a First Street business Wednesday at 3:03 p.m.

A 10:37 p.m. Wednesday caller on 13th Street reported that the hill near the hospital was very slick.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

An arrest was made after a domestic disturbance was reported on County Road 90 South Wednesday at 1 p.m. No details on the charges were provided in the dispatch log. But Lakotah Jae Oats of Havre, who was named as an involved party, was listed in this morning's jail roster as being held on a charge of failure to appear.

An 11:54 p.m. caller on Wild Horse Road reported a semitractor-trailer stuck due to lack of traction.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to two calls Wednesday and two calls early this morning. The 10:18 a.m. Wednesday call was accompanying a fire crew responding to a fire alarm on 13th Street West, but the fire alarm was a false alarm and firefighters reset the alarm before leaving the scene.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two cats and two kittens of unknown gender, a female 6-month-old kitten, five male cats, three female cats and a male 24-week-old kitten.

The shelter also held a male mixed-breed dog, a male 8-month-old Labrador retriever puppy, a male 21-week-old Labrador retriever puppy, a female 7-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female pit bull terrier, a female German shepherd dog, an 8-month-old corgi puppy, a female pit bull-border collie cross, a female 22-week-old shar pei puppy and a male Labrador retriever.

Births

A boy was born Monday, Feb. 14, 2022, to Sarah and Jared Boyce of Havre.
