Local quilter semifinalist in international quilt shows

Karen Vosen from Havre has been juried in as a semifinalist for the 2022 American Quilt Show Quilt Week in Branson, Missouri, March 23-26, and is also a semifinalist for the 2022 American Quilt Show Quilt Week in Puducah, Kentucky, April 27-30. 

Her quilts Dancing with the Stars and Estrelle Espanole - Spanish Star - will appear in Branson and Estrelle Espole and Infinity will appear in the show in Puducah.

Dancing with the Stars and Infinity are also features in the Quilting Arts Calendar for 2022 and 2023, respecively

"AQS has a longstanding history of having the best of the best in our contest," American Quilt Show President Bill Schroeder said. "Just when we think the quality of the quilts can't get any better, quilters step up their creativity even more and set a new standard of quilt making.  This year's contest is no exception and the quilts are truly exceptional."

The show in Branson features 285 quilts and 405 quilts will be displayed at the Puducah Show.  Quilts are entered from 43 U.S. states and 15 countries in these shows.
