Havre Police Department

A theft was reported by a 15th Street West caller Wednesday at 9:39 a.m.

A Washington Avenue caller reported Wednesday at 4:43 p.m. that a mailbox was damaged.

A violation of a no contact order was reported at 8:23 p.m. Wednesday on First Street Northeast.

--

Nine summonses were issued or arrests made related to a 4:04 a.m. report today of a very loud house party on Wilson Avenue. Details were not available.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies were asked at 4:27 a.m. today to assist Havre police at a Wilson Avenue location.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to six calls Wednesday and one early this morning.

Firefighters responded to two fires Wednesday: A grass fire on the 3300 Block of 49th Street West at 1:18 p.m. as mutual aid to Bear Paw Volunteer Fire Department, which had no one available to provide details, and a carbon monoxide alarm on the 200 Block of 10th Street at 1:39 p.m., which was the result of the alarm signally that it needed replacing.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two 11-week-old kittens, three 6-week-old kittens, four 8-week-old kittens, three 9-week-old kittens, a 10-week-old kitten and two cats all of unknown gender, two female cats and four male cats. Another four 7-week-old kittens were being cared for in a foster home.

The shelter also held a male mixed-breed dog, three male and one female 6-month-old mixed-breed puppies, a male 7-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female Rottweiler dog and a female mixed-breed dog. And a male mixed-breed dog was listed in foster care.

Births

A girl was born Tuesday, May 31, 2022, to Irene Denny and Andrew Windy Boy Jr. of Box Elder.
