Kati Purkett, Montana State University Extension Hill County family and consumer science extension agent, has invited people to join a webinar on “Small Business Retirement Plans: A Tool to Retain Employees.”
The Thursday, July 7, webinar will be put on by Montana State University Extension Associate Specialist Joel Schumacher, family and consumer sciences and agricultural and natural resources program leader.
“Small business owners are constantly looking for the best way to attract and retain good workers,” a release about the webinar said. “Retirement plans are a great tool to help keep employees and make it easier to ensure financially stable retirement years for you and your employees. This session will cover the basics of what small business owners need to consider before starting a retirement plan.”
The Extension webinar series is free and open to the public and offer the chance to hear experts provide an overview of small business development topics and phone in or type chat questions or comments. The staff will follow-up on requests or additional information.
