Havre Police Department

William Joseph Bostwick of Great Falls, 30, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence after a Thursday 6:20 a.m. caller at a First Street West business reported a man passed out in a vehicle in the parking lot for close to two hours.

A caller on 11th Street West reported Thursday at 11:28 a.m. that a weed eater had been stolen out of the back of the caller's truck Monday.

Aaryn Jace Cantrell of Havre, 23, was arrested on a charge of assault with bodily fluid after a caller on Fifth Avenue reported at 1:03 p.m. Thursday that a family member was bloody.

A Havre area caller reported Thursday at 3:17 p.m. that they were scammed by an online seller.

--

A hit and run vehicle crash was reported in a parking lot on 13th Street Thursday at 4:33 p.m.

--

A 17-year-old was issued a summons on a shoplifting charge after juvenile shoplifters were reported at a First Street business Thursday at 5:56 p.m.

--

A caller at a First Street West business reported Thursday at 6:28 p.m. that a woman was trying to pawn a weed eater of the same brand that someone had reported stolen earlier.

Tia Russell of Box Elder, 24, was issued a summons on an assault charge after a caller on Second Street reported that two people were fighting at 10:35 p.m. Thursday.

Lawrence Eugene Brown of Fort Myers, Florida, 60, was arrested on a DUI charge after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported a man passed out in a vehicle Friday at 12:05 a.m.

--

Two juveniles were arrested, charges not listed, after a caller on 13th Avenue reported people were lying out on the ground Friday at 3:21 a.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Vandalism was reported on Bullhook Road at 2:33 p.m. Thursday.

A Thursday 4:42 p.m. caller at the hospital reported a dog bite.

A 16-year-old was issue a summons on charges of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct after deputies were called to assist officers on 13th Avenue at 3:30 a.m. Friday.

Montana Highway Patrol

Troopers were called Thursday at 4:57 p.m. to a crash with an injury on Whitcomb Street in Zortman. The trooper was not available to provide further details.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to six calls Thursday and two calls early Friday morning to the same block where three people were seen by EMTs. A 10:47 a.m. Thursday call to the 10 Block of Third Street West was accompanying firefighters to a report of a fire alarm.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter Friday morning held three 5-week-old kittens, five 9-week-old kittens, three 6-week-old kittens and three 3-week-old kittens all of unknown gender, one female 13-week-old kitten, six female cats, three male cats, a male 6-month-old kitten and a female 16-week-old kitten.

The shelter also held a male Labrador retriever, two male mixed breed dogs, three male 8-month-old mixed-breed puppies and a male pit bull-border collie cross. Also, a female 8-month-old mixed-breed puppy and a male mixed-breed dog were listed in foster care.
