Havre Police Department

A First Avenue caller reported Friday at 9:04 a.m. that someone broke into his truck during the night.

A Saddle Butte Drive caller reported Friday at 10:13 a.m. that someone broke into a truck during the night.

A Saddle Butte Drive caller reported Friday at 3:28 p.m. that a vehicle had been entered and property stolen.

Property was reported found on Second Avenue at 3:54 p.m. Friday.

Acoya Nathan Gopher of Box Elder, 24, was arrested on a partner or family member assault charge after a caller on Second Street reported seeing an assault Friday at 6:03 p.m.

Kelli Twoteeth of Havre, 30, was arrested on charges of shoplifting and disorderly conduct and Twoteeth was served with a Justice or City court warrant at Hill County Detention Center at 2:56 a.m. Saturday.

A vehicle crash was reported at Second Avenue and First Street Friday at 6:49 p.m.

A Second Street caller reported that some teenagers dropped something in his yard Saturday at 4:57 a.m.

A Saturday 6:25 a.m. caller reported a truck had been stolen.

A hit and run crash was reported on Third Street Saturday at 8:56 a.m.

A summons was issued after someone stopped at the police station Saturday at 11:01 a.m. asking to speak with an officer. No details on charges were provided.

An abandoned van was reported on Second Avenue Saturday at 11:29 a.m.

A smashed windshield was reported on Third Street Saturday at 12:38 p.m.

A summons was issued after a caller on 10th Street West asked Sunday at 4:44 a.m. for officer assistance. No details on charges were provided.

Officers provided assistance with an ambulance call at 12:49 p.m. Sunday on Third Street.

A Fourth Street caller reported a possible squatter on Fourth Street at 2:46 p.m. Sunday.

Shoplifters were reported at a First Street business Sunday at 4:39 p.m.

Officers investigated a Sunday 8:10 p.m. request for transport to the hospital.

James Darren Hobbs of Box Elder, MT 32, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a caller at the emergency room requested assistance at 1:52 a.m. today.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Leah Marie Goggles of Havre, 38, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants during a vehicle stop on 13th Street Friday at 7:10 p.m.

A caller reported lost or found property at a U.S. Highway 2 West business Friday at 10:02 p.m.

--

Mayann Margaret Weaving of Havre, 19, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants at Hill County Detention Center Saturday at 1:40 p.m.

--

Vandalism was reported on County Road 100 South at 6:46 p.m. Saturday.

--

Daryl Gene Wright of Box Elder, 36, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a caller reported suspicious activity on U.S. Highway 87 Sunday at 2:50 a.m.

Montana Highway Patrol

Troopers responded Friday at 5:10 p.m. to an injury crash involving two people on a motorcycle on U.S. Highway 2 near mile marker 365 and Chain Lake Road east of Kremlin. MHP reports said the rear tire of the motorcycle went flat, causing the crash in which the passenger sustained a cut to the head and some road rash. The injured person was transported to the hospital.

Troopers also responded to a one-vehicle crash Sunday at about 1 a.m. The vehicle, westbound on U.S. Highway 2, was flipped and in the ditch near mile marker 351 between Gildford and Hingham. The adult female driver complained of chest pains and was transported to the hospital. The vehicle was towed. The report says alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to three calls Friday, seven calls Saturday, 13 calls Sunday and on call early this morning.

Firefighters were called to the 800 Block of Fourth Street at 5:55 p.m. Sunday and reset an alarm. No signs of fire were found.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held three cats, two 11-week-old kittens, five 4-day-old kittens, three 10-week-old kittens and one 8-week-old kitten all of unknown gender, two male cats, six female cats, two male and one female 14-week-old kittens, and two female and one male 11-week-old kittens.

The shelter also held a border collie, a male mixed-breed dog, a female 25-week-old Labrador retriever, a male 9-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female mixed-breed dog, a female 6-month-old border collie puppy, a male 11-month-old mixed-breed puppy and a male pit bull-border collie cross. Additionally, five male 8-week-old puppies, one female and one male 6-week-old puppies and one male dog, all mixed breeds, were being fostered.
