Havre Police Department

Clifford John Black Elk of Havre, 31, was issued a summons on a charge of theft of lost or mislaid property after a wallet was reported stolen from a First Street business Friday at 11:11 a.m.

A hit and run crash was reported at 1:52 p.m. Friday at Havre High School.

A Second Street caller reported Friday at 2:26 p.m. that a vehicle had been stolen two days prior.

A 3:40 p.m. Friday caller reported slashed tires on Fourth Street.

A 14-year-old was issued a summons on a charge of minor in possession and was taken to the emergency room after a Havre caller reported a girl with possible alcohol poisoning at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Officers assisted Hill County Sheriff’s deputies and Billings Police Department serving a protective order on 15th Street West Friday at 8:10 p.m.

Udale Reed Merasty of Havre, 35, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after a Ninth Avenue caller reported a man was threatening the caller and throwing things at him Friday at 8:54 p.m.

A brown leather wallet was reported found at Sixth Avenue and Fifth Street at 10:32 a.m. Saturday.

A fake $100 bill was reported at a Fifth Avenue business at 4:03 p.m. Saturday.

A two-car crash with one injury was reported at First Street and Third Avenue at 4:31 p.m. Saturday.

A 17-year-old was issued a summons on charges of MIP, disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia after a caller on Main Street reported a disorderly man walking down the street hitting branches off the trees Saturday at 5:52 p.m.

A two-vehicle crash was reported on First Street at 6:04 p.m.

A fake $100 bill was reported at a Fifth Avenue business at 9:17 p.m. Saturday.

A 10th Street West caller reported at 9:50 p.m. Saturday that laundry and a basket was stolen.

Avery Joseph Gallagher of Havre, 19, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and minor in possession after a caller on Cleveland Avenue reported at man pounding on the back door at 10:33 p.m.

Brittany Jae Grant of Havre, 29, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, driving without vehicle insurance and expired vehicle registration during a Sunday 2:15 a.m. vehicle stop on 13th Street West that was related to a 2:07 a.m. report of a possible drunk driver who had slapped the caller after trying to fight people on Fifth Avenue.

Warren Paul Small Jr. of Box Elder, 24, was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault and assault and a 14-year-old was issued a summons on charges of MIP and juvenile curfew violations, after a caller on Second Street reported that three people were fighting in a yard at 3:50 a.m. Sunday.

Two arrests were made during a vehicle stop on 15th Avenue Sunday at 3:38 p.m. but no details on charges were provided.

A summons was issued after a shoplifter was reported in a First Avenue business Sunday at 5:20 p.m., but no details on charges were provided.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies assisted Havre Police officers and Billings Police Department serving a protective order on 15th Street West Friday at 8:10 p.m.

Deputies were asked at 3:53 p.m. Sunday to assist Havre Police on 15th Avenue.

——

Deputies were asked Sunday at 7:45 p.m. to assist another agency north of Havre.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to four calls Friday, eight calls Saturday and seven calls Sunday.

Firefighters provided standby and traffic control for EMS at a two-car crash with one injury at First Street and Third Avenue at 4:31 p.m. Saturday. They also responded to a report of a gas leak at 6:40 p.m. Sunday on 8th Avenue West where a small leak was found and the scene was turned over to NorthWestern Energy.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held 11 kittens and one cat all of unknown gender, four male kittens, two male cats, five female cats and two female kittens.

The shelter also held four 17-week-old mixed-breed puppies, five 12-week-old mixed-breed puppies, three 5-week-old puppies, two male and one female mixed-breed dogs, a male pug-Chihuahua and a male Australian shepherd. Additionally, seven puppies and one male dog, all mixed-breeds, were being fostered.
